Mustard has teamed with Vestiaire Collective to sell his high-fashion items for charity.
Mustard’s pieces include jeans from Off-White and Chrome Hearts, Louis Vuitton sunglasses, and his own merch, with all proceeds to be donated to Destination Crenshaw, an outdoor art and culture experience celebrating Black Los Angeles.
“I’ve worked with the councilman Herb Wesson for many years, and I love the work they do,” Mustard said. “As a LA native, I will forever support education, the arts and community-building here first.”
He also explained why sometimes luxury items actually make the most sense in the long run.
“I think people should buy things they love and buy for longevity,” Mustard said. “I’m a collector as well, and I choose to purchase quality pieces over fast fashion so that I can have them for a long time, as they retain value and character with age.”
