Philly model turned rapper Chynna Rogers, A.K.A. Chynna has died of causes unknown, she was 25.
Rogers first came into the public eye when she signed with Ford Models at the age of 14. As a teen she became the protege' of A$AP Mob member A$AP Yams which led to her turn as a rapper.
She gained success with the release of 2013’s “Selfie” and 2014’s “Glen Coco.” She would describe her music as “music for angry people with too much pride to show how angry they are.”
She often spoke of her addiction to opiate in the past and on her 22nd birthday celebrated three months of sobriety. She released her final EP in December titled In case i die first.
