The world took to social media to voice their frustrations with the grand jury’s ruling in the death of Breonna Taylor.
Only Brett Hankinson was brought up on charges that didn't even involve Taylor’s death.
Rihanna came forth with a sobering message from a sign seen at one of the protests to help get her point across.
“I’m just gon’ let this sink into your hollow skull,” she said to Kentucky attorney general Daniel Cameron on Twitter.
The sign reads, “A cop shot a Black woman and was only charged for the shots missed.”
The grand jury indicted ex-cop Daniel Hankison on three counts of wanton endangerment for his role in the shooting essentially only being held accountable for the 10 rounds he shot into her apartment. A Class D felony, which is the lowest level of the four.
The city of Louisville reached a settlement with the Taylor family for $12 million for the botched police raid.
