While the world is still coming to terms with the sudden and tragic death of basketball icon, Kobe Bryant… More and more of his peers are starting to speak out on what he meant to them, the game and society.
WNBA legend, Lisa Leslie sat down with Gayle King on CBS This Morning and the journalist asked her if she thinks Bryant's legacy is "complicated" due to the 2003 sexual assault charge. Bryant who admitted to having had sex with the woman, insisted that it was consensual. He was charged with rape, but the case was dropped after the accuser declined to testify.
Leslie, a longtime friend of the NBA legend responded by saying, "It's not complicated for me at all.”
Well… Social media is pissed at Oprah’s BFF for coming for the Black Mamba’s legacy and it’s forced her to respond.
