A Nipsey Hussle biography will be published next year, Complex reports.
The Marathon Donโt Stop: The Life and Times of Nipsey Hussle will be available from March 24, 2020 and is written by Rob Kenner, a founding editor of VIBE, who has also written for The New York Times.
Complex goes on with: โThe last time I spoke with Nipsey Hussle, he told me, โI ainโt outside giving out jewelry or dropping off bags of money on people, but Iโm giving out game,โโ Kenner says.ย โThis book is my attempt to help fulfill that intention. The Marathon Donโt Stopย will also place his accomplishments in proper historical context, giving Nipsey Hussle his rightful place in the history of hip-hop, Los Angeles, and America.ย It will include interviews with people who havenโt spoken before, as well as insights into the forces that shaped Hussle into the man he became.โ
Michelle Herrera Mulligan, senior editor at Atria, will edit the biography. โNipsey has inspired an entire generation of people whoย have felt invisible in their communities,โ she says.ย โThis book will share the blueprint of Nipseyโs success, drawn on the streets where heย was raised.โ
