The show started with Taylor Swift taking the stage, and Cardi B winning one of the first awards of the night.
Cardi took home the moon man for "Best Hip Hop Video." Thanking her entire Bardi Gang and glam squad.
Some of our favorite performers were Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and A$AP Ferg joining forces with Big Sean for their new single Bezerk.
Another memorable moment was of course Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot. Her performance took us back to 2003 when she along side an ocean of dancers performed Lose Control, Work It and more. She even brought out the Alyson Stoner the memorable girl who danced in her video at 10-years-old, killed the same dance again!
Cardi B presented Missy with her Video Vanguard Award post performance which brought everyone to their feet.
