Meek Mill Refurbishes A Park From His Hometown

Meek Mill is giving thanks to his hometown with actions not just words.

Back in October Meek held a press conference announcing that he planned to refurbish a park in the North Philadelphia neighborhood he grew up in. At the time, he told TMZ, "North Philly will always be home. When kids go to East Fairmount Park, they deserve to ball in the best conditions possible, so I'm glad they'll have that opportunity now."

Ten months later the dream is finally a reality. Meek collaborated with Puma and several local organizations, such as Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Mural Arts Philadelphia, and the Strawberry Mansion Community Development Corporation to fulfill his promise.

Check out his initial announcement and the final product below.
