It's been a minute since we've heard new music on the radio from Soulja Boy. The last few years he's been involved in viral videos and hip hop beef. Besides the big jewelry, oversized clothing, and headbands. he's almost kept a low profile.
I'm not sure if his resolution for 2019 included coming back with a bang, but he's definitely accomplished that goal.
He went on an Instagram tirade saying he had the best comeback of the year (2018). Then earlier this week he was invited on The Breakfast Club and claimed Drake stole his sound.
Soulja Boy was the innovator of a lot of things in the early 2000s, such as viral dances, using social media to expand his listener base and much, much more - but many people said claiming Drake stole his sound was far fetched.
Yesterday, a new episode of "Everyday Struggle" was released and Soulja Boy went in on all three of the hosts and called them "f*ck n*ggas'. I'm not sure why the hosts didn't knock his dingy headband off his head, but they kept calm and allowed him to say once again that he's had the best comeback of the year.
Later that night, while backstage at a concert in New York, rapper Cassanova approached Soulja Boy and told him to keep calm, especially when he's talking to the ladies.
If this week wasn't filled with enough Soulja Boy for your liking, then check him out on Marriage Bootcamp tonight with his longtime girlfriend, Nia.
