Fox News has received a lot of flack for pushing a conservative agenda most of the time, but this mistake takes the cake.
In the sad passing of music legend Aretha Franklin, the network wanted to honor her. Yet, in the background we see images of another legendary diva... Patti Labelle. Seems like this right-winged network didn't even care enough to recheck their imaging.
Fox News has apologized for the mistake. “We sincerely apologize to Aretha Franklin’s family and friends,” the network said in a statement. “Our intention was to honor the icon using a secondary image of her performing with Patti LaBelle in the full screen graphic, but the image of Ms. Franklin was obscured in that process, which we deeply regret.”
