Jermaine Dupri has elevated some big names in the music industry. From Xscape, to Da Brat, to Bowwow, and more. Well now the super producer just revealed that there will be a 25th anniversary of his label, So So Def, and they are celebrating with a tour!
The tour will travel through 11 cities, and include: Jermaine himself along with Xscape, Da Brat, Jagged Edge, Bow Wow, Anthony Hamilton, Bone Crusher, Youngbloodz, Dem Franchize Boyz and J-Kwon.
“I feel like with my artists and even myself, people don’t pay enough attention to how much we mean to the culture and how much So So Def meant to breaking the South and making people pay attention to Atlanta,” he said. “This is perfect timing. This is the 25th anniversary of a black-owned record company that put out multiple artists and enough artists to do our own tour. We’re blessed basically.”
The tour kicks off on October 14th in Washington, D.C. and ends on November 2nd in Los Angeles!
