Jay-'s docu-series, on Trayvon Martin has been long awaited. “Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story” will detail the loss of the teen and highlight how it influence an entire movement.
The documentary, which is executive produced by Jay-Z and Trayvon’s parents, is scheduled to premiere on July 30th on the Paramount Network.
According to XXL, the documentary adapts two books centered on Trayvon’s passing. The first is “Rest In Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin,” which is written by Trayvon’s parents Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin. The second book is “Suspicion Nation,” written by Lisa Bloom, which details George Zimmerman’s trial and acquittal.
