Yes, you read that headline correctly! Two sitcom legends, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, are reportedly set to bring us a part three to the Bad Boys franchise.
According to Hot New Hip-Hop
Deadline reports that Sony is in talks with Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to direct Bad Boys For Life, which will bring Lawrence and Smith back together as Miami detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey. The film will be produced by Hollywood heavyweight Jerry Bruckheimer, and is slated to start filming this August, based off a screenplay by Chris Bremner.
This project has apparently been a top priority for Sony, as the two preceding films experienced international acclaim, all while raking in a boatload of cash at the box office.
