Fans have been too excited for the release of J. Cole's new album, KOD, that was released on April 20th. After taking a hiatus for some time, Cole came back holding nothing back. So much that the album is slowly making history.
According to Fader, J. Cole not only "set new records for first-day streaming in the United States on both Apple Music and Spotify," but he could pass Justin Timberlake for having the fastest album of the year.
This is Cole's fifth number one on the Billboard charts. "Estimates suggest the album will sell between 350,000 and 400,000 equivalent album units."
If you haven't heard the album, feel free to listen to the album titled song, KOD, here.
