The Avengers: Infinity War star Anthony Mackie, AKA The Falcon, hit up South Florida on Wednesday and sat with us in studio to talk Avengers, black superheroes, and being a bad kid.
Infinity War features more good guys than any other Marvel movie before, and they're all going to have to be at their best to beat Thanos (Josh Brolin) -- some purple dude with a sick metal glove called the Infinity Gauntlet that holds the all-powerful Infinity Stones: Space, Power, Reality, Time, Mind and Soul. It's pretty freakin' crazy.
"The more people that see these movies, the better; because we're in a culture now where people don't go to see movies," Mackie said about the latest Marvel installment (in theaters on April 27). "...We need to get back to taking chicks to go see movies! That's a solid date. It's a good look."
So why are movies dying? Well Mackie thinks it's probably because of Netflix, and streaming, and all of us being too lazy to get off that damn couch!
...And he's probably right. I mean, how many of us have gone home after work and school and just not move after that? You have -- you definitely have.
"It's the best superhero movie I've ever seen -- best story line, best plot twist -- everything in the movie works, and that's why they had to create it into two movies, because it's so dynamic and so powerful."
Apparently, Mackie's not giving us any spoiler alerts, so I guess we're gunna have to get off the couch to see this one. Catch up on everything Anthony Mackie had to say, here:
