If you are as addicted to Issa Rae's "Insecure" HBO TV Series as we are, then you will be glad to know that the creator/actor is working on another drama series for the network.
According to Complex:
Just a year after her Insecure series debuted on the network, Deadline reports the actress/writer/director/producer is developing a new HBO drama that follows a black family in early-1990s Los Angeles. The show will reportedly focus on husband and wife, Jackson and Sheryl. The former is "a conflicted LAPD anti-gang task force recruit," while the latter is an "envelope bounds-pushing real estate agent." The couple’s teenage children—daughter Ebony and son Les—will also be featured.
"I’m so thrilled to be working with Angela," Rae told Deadline. "I was a huge fan of The Turner House and we feel so lucky to bring her beautiful storytelling to HBO."
