Forbes just revealed their list of the wealthiest hip hop moguls in the game, and narrowed it down to the top five! Think you know who made the list?
Coming in at number one is Diddy with a net worth of $820 million, stemming from Ciroc Vodka, Revolt TV and his Bad Boy Reunion Tour.
Coming in at a close second is Jay Z with an estimated $810 million, $200 million than last year. Sheesh! He can thank his investment with Sprint and his music-streaming service Tidal for this one.
Then, booted from last years number 2 spot down to number 3 is Dr. Dre with an estimated net worth of $740 million. Dre sold Beats to Apple for $3 Billion and bought himself a Los Angeles mansion for $40 Million. Records say that the crib is already worth 20% more than he paid!
Next, Birdman, co-owner of Cash Money Records (label of Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Drake), comes in at the number 4 spot with an estimated net worth of $110 million!
Meanwhile, Birdman's artist Drake is hot on his heels with $90 million at number 5. The 6-God's Views album became the first to top 1 billion plays on Apple Music, and he also has partnerships with Apple, Nike, and Sprite to keep his pockets more than full.
