Google has just stepped up their support for African-American tech students by partnering with major HBCU, Howard University!
Considering that the majority of those in the tech force are white, Google has helped create "Howard West," a branch of HU that will be stationed at the Googleplex for junior and senior computer science majors!
According to TheShadeRoom, Howard University President Dr. Wayne Frederick said “Howard West will produce hundreds of industry-ready Black computer science graduates, future leaders with the power to transform the global technology space into a stronger, more accurate reflection of the world around us."
