After winning her defamation lawsuit against a blogger who spread false claims about her during the height of the Tory Lanez controversy. Megan reportedly walked out of court telling reporters she was going out to eat.
While the payout wasn’t as large as Megan and her legal team initially pursued, the court still ruled in her favor. Meaning the blogger will be cutting a check for publishing and amplifying false narratives about the Houston rapper.

The case stemmed from what Megan’s team described as a coordinated effort to damage her reputation following the 2020 shooting incident involving Tory Lanez. With this ruling, Megan continues to clear her name publicly and legally, reinforcing her stance against misinformation targeting Black women in the industry.
