While behind bars, Sean “Diddy” Combs made headlines again by suing NBC Universal for $100 million, claiming defamation. But NBC didn’t just sit back and take the blow; they dropped major receipts in court, turning his own words against him.
In their court filing, NBC highlighted a line from Diddy where he admitted that “my decisions is the reason I lost my reputation,” suggesting self-accountability. Rather than pushing a false narrative, NBC argued that they didn’t need to defame him...his own choices were enough to explain his downfall.

According to NBC’s documents, Diddy’s business decline wasn’t the result of a smear campaign. It was a direct consequence of his own decisions. By pointing to Diddy’s admission, NBC is essentially saying they didn’t need to lie or twist the truth; he did the damage himself.
