Nicki Minaj and the Barbz has the internet gaged; his time for pulling the plug on her anticipated new album, and she’s placing the blame squarely on Jay-Z and Roc Nation.
In a series of fiery posts on X (formerly Twitter), Nicki claimed that Roc Nation approached her with a proposed album and tour deal set for March 2026. According to her, she declined the offer—and that’s when the tension escalated.
“They came to me... I said no,” she wrote, before throwing clear shade at Jay-Z, adding, “It was a no, just like the casino,” referencing Hov’s failed bid for a New York City casino license earlier this year.
The Queens rapper also reignited her long-standing beef with Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, alleging the company still owes her $2 million from a past TIDAL deal. Nicki hasn’t held back, and fans are already dissecting every line of her posts for deeper meaning.
Jay-Z has yet to respond publicly, but the drama has social media buzzing and we’ve got the receipts. Check out her full post; got it linked for you.
