Lil Wayne is gearing up to hit the road again and this time, he’s bringing serious heat. The hip-hop icon just announced a 34-city tour in partnership with Live Nation to support his highly anticipated album Tha Carter VI. But there’s one surprising twist: the tour won’t be making a stop in his home state of Louisiana.
Wayne joked that he's going “everywhere but my home state,” leaving fans wondering why NOLA didn’t make the list. In a candid moment, he hinted at past frustrations, saying, “The NFL played with my emotions,” possibly alluding to previous snubs or overlooked moments in his hometown recognition.
The lineup for the tour is stacked. Joining Weezy on the road are Tyga, NoCap, and rising collective Belly Gang Kushington, promising a mix of veteran energy and new-school vibes.

With Tha Carter VI expected to drop soon, the tour is shaping up to be more than just a concert; it’s a celebration of Wayne’s legacy, new music, and the next chapter in his legendary career.
