Boosie Speaks Out During Week 2 of Diddy Trial

As Week 2 of the federal civil trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs unfolds in New York, rapper Boosie Badazz is once again making headlines;not for music, but for his blunt and controversial take on the explosive case. The Louisiana rapper took to social media to weigh in on the trial’s dramatic developments, calling the allegations part of a calculated “takedown” masterminded by Cassie Ventura and her now-husband, Alex Fine.

“A woman scorned is a dangerous evil,” Boosie said in a video clip circulating on Twitter/X and Instagram. “This man [Alex Fine] been trying to get her to do this for years. She finally pulled the trigger.”

Boosie also pointed to the rumored breakdown in Diddy and Yung Miami's (Careesha Brownlee) high-profile relationship as the final straw that allegedly pushed Cassie to act. According to Boosie, a moment during an awards show—where Careesha was seen holding a “Go Papi” sign in the audience while Diddy accepted an award—might’ve set off deep emotional tensions. “That broke Cassie,” Boosie suggested. “That sign was the nail in the coffin.”

Cassie filed a civil lawsuit against Diddy in late 2023, accusing him of rape, human trafficking, and years of physical and emotional abuse. Though the case was settled within 24 hours, the filing sparked a cascade of federal investigations, raids on Combs’ homes, and additional allegations from multiple accusers, including former Bad Boy Records associates and music industry insiders.

This week, singer Dawn Richard—former member of Danity Kane and Diddy’s Dirty Money group—took the stand, reportedly offering testimony related to Diddy’s inner circle and past behavior. While her full testimony has yet to be released, sources close to the courtroom say her account is being closely examined for corroboration of other claims.
