Young Thug Introduces New Fashion and Teases Album at NYC Event

This week in New York City, Young Thug made a rare public appearance to spotlight the latest drop from his fashion label, Sp5der. Hosted at an exclusive, invite-only event in Manhattan, the rapper blended music and fashion as he showcased new pieces from the vibrant streetwear line, known for its web motifs and neon aesthetics.

Sp5der, often stylized with a “5” in place of the “y,” has steadily gained traction in the streetwear scene since its emergence in 2021—distinct from the established outerwear brand Spyder, which is unrelated despite the similar name. Thugger's version has been co-signed by artists like Lil Baby, Gunna, and Travis Scott, and has appeared in editorial spreads and sold-out capsule collections.

During the event, Young Thug also reignited excitement around his music, teasing fans with news of a long-awaited project. He confirmed that his new album, UY Scuti, is on the horizon—a title first teased back in 2021. The name references one of the largest known stars in the universe, signaling a project of cosmic ambition.
