Young Thug Responds After Atlanta Prosecutors Seek to Revoke His Probation

Young Thug is speaking out after the Atlanta District Attorney's office filed a motion to revoke his probation, claiming he made threats against a police detective. The DA's office alleges that Thug has been involved in "escalating threats and witness intimidation," which, if it is the case Thug could have faced serious legal repercussions. Young Thug is currently serving a 15-year probation sentence.

In response to the allegations, Young Thug denied any wrongdoing, stating that he does not threaten people and emphasizing that he is, in his words, a “good person.”

His legal team, led by attorney Brian Steel, has called the motion “baseless,” asserting that there is no factual basis to the claims made by prosecutors.

As reported earlier this week Young Thug's post followed to death of fellow artist Young Scooter. Young Scooter's cause of death came into question after a false 911 call against the rapper; which resulted in his tragic death. The medical corner has ruled Young Scooter's death as "accidental" officially. Young Thug along with many fans and industry peers mourn the loss of the talented artist.

As the situation unfolds, it’s clear that both Young Thug and his legal team are prepared to defend themselves from the false narrative that he claims is being portrayed of him with the unjust accusations.

A judge has decided the not revoke Young Thug's probation as the DA requested. Young Thug is a free man serving his 15 years probation.
