Producer Turbo has emerged victorious in the copyright lawsuit filed against him. After facing a $10 million claim filed by vocalist Jamal Britt. Britt had alleged that Turbo used his voice, specifically the “Run That Back Turbo” producer tag, without consent.
The legal drama began when Britt took Turbo to court, asserting that his vocal contribution to the tag was used beyond the original recording and without proper authorization. However, after a lengthy legal battle, the court officially dismissed all claims against Turbo on Friday, (March 7) ruling in the producer’s favor.
The ruling concluded that Britt had no further involvement in the tag’s usage beyond the initial recording. This decision marks a significant win for Turbo, who has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop.
Turbo recently visited Bulletproof Radio speaking on new music. He recently released Classy Lady featuring Gunna.
