Gunna's Goals To Go On The Run...

Gunna is embarking on a new journey. It's all about his health, fitness, and pushing the limits of his physical endurance. The Atlanta rapper is now setting his sights on something different than his music career. Guna's new found love is; running a marathon.

In a recent interview, Gunna shared his intention to take on the challenge of a marathon in 2025, a goal that marks a significant shift in his personal journey. Known for his laid-back demeanor and smooth musical flow, the artist is now diving into the realm of long-distance running. Which Gunna is something he had no interest in before. This new commitment represents his desire to test not only his mental toughness but also his physical capabilities.

Joining him in his goal is his manager, Ebony Ward, who is just as eager to support and participate in the endeavor. “I’ma run it with you,” Ward said, clearly excited about this joint venture that extends beyond the music. All about physical fitness.

For Gunna he explained it is more than just a fitness challenge; it’s a manifestation of his desire to transform and embrace new aspects of life.

While Gunna’s new fitness goal is impressive, it also comes at a time when his public image continues to be under scrutiny. Following his highly publicized plea deal and subsequent legal battles in connection to the YSL RICCO case. Gunna and Young Thug were amongst members of YSL music label that was indicted on over 20 counts originally. The trial made history as the longest trial held in Atlanta GA. Young Thug's YSL RICO trial began November 2023; Thug accepted a pleas deal October 31,2024. Plead guilty to six counts, he was sentenced to time served. Gunna was released December 1 after taking an Alford plea in 2022.

Gunna’s personal and professional life has been the subject of media focus. Despite clearing the air through his legal team, asserting that he did not "snitch," the rapper still faces judgment from certain segments of the culture.

However, Gunna's decision to take on a marathon is locked in and shows signs he is moving forward in 2025 and for him, fitness is now a central part of his transformation.
