Travis Scott Wants SME Production Company To Pay Up $100 M....

Travis Scott's Utopia album had fans flocking to his 2023 tour in record numbers, driving major success for the Texas rapper. However, despite the album's success, Travis is reportedly frustrated with the production company he hired for the tour. He's accusing Show Motion Engineering (SME) of breaching their contract. The company was supposed to build a custom stage for the tour, but Travis claims they failed to deliver on their promises.

Travis Scott claims that not only did Show Motion Engineering (SME) fail to deliver on building the custom stage he envisioned to elevate his fans' experience, but the company also took advantage of him. Travis is alleging that SME used his likeness and brand on their website without his permission, further adding to his frustration with the situation.

Court documents say that SME didn't build the stage for inspection, which the contract required before any final payments were made. Because of this, Travis Scott's team held off on future payments, causing SME to hold the stage and preventing it from being used on the 2023 UTOPIA tour.
