YSL Yak Gotti Stabbed; One of Final 2 Defends YSL RICCO Trial

Yak Gotti reportedly over the weekend was stabbed while in jail. On Sunday Dec. 1. at the Fulton County Jail. He is awaiting the verdict of the ongoing YSL RICCO trial pertaining to him. Sources have reported to media outlets that Yak Gotti suffered minor injuries.

With the justice system holding his fate in twelve jurors hands Yak could be facing some pretty heavy time. Deamonte Kendrick, also known as rapper Yak Gotti, and Shannon Stillwell are the last two defendants remaining in the YSL trial. Jurors took the Thanksgiving holiday to deliberate on the trail resuming on Monday night.

Prosecutors have classified YSL as an organized gang using music as a front to carry out violent crimes. Initially, 28 individuals were named and detained in connection with the YSL RICO indictment. Young Thug, one of the key co-defendants, was recently released on probation after accepting a plea deal. Stillwell and Yak Gotti rejected plea deals after a week of negotiations.

Kendrick is facing one count of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations act, one count of murder, and one count of participation in a criminal street gang activity, and firearms charges. Both Kendrick and Stillwell are expected to find out their verdicts sometime today.
