On Monday, Drake filed a pre-action petition in Manhattan court, claiming that UMG (Universal Music Group) and Spotify teamed up to falsely driving up the popularity of Kendrick Lamar's viral diss track, "Not Like Us." streams. In the filing, Drake's legal team argued that UMG didn’t rely on chance or standard business tactics, but instead launched a deliberate campaign to manipulate streaming platforms and radio.
