Shaboozey Responds After CMA Snub

Collins Chibueze, better known as Shaboozey responds to what some view as a CMA snub. The country music singer has truly changed the game. With over 18 weeks on the Billboard Top 100, he was nominated for major awards but didn’t walk away with a trophy to mark his success. Shaboozey responded with grace, but fans aren’t having the disrespect! Many are rallying for the country singer, demanding answers.

"A Bar Song" has spent 18 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, one week away from tying the all-time record held by Lil Nas X’sOld Town Road” which reigned in 2019.

In the Single of the Year category against artists Cody Johnson, Post Malone, Lainey Wilson and Chris Stapleton, the latter who won for his song “White Horse.” He was also nominated for Best New Artist of the Year but failed to take home a trophy.

Shaboozey expressed he was happy to have been around and included in such greatness!
