Tory Lanez is serving a ten year sentenced behind bars in California. Following the conviction of shooting Hip-Hop star Megan Thee Stallion.
Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, shot Megan, the three-time, after a party in Hollywood per court documents July 12, 2020.
Recently Tory's legal team attempted to enter the statement of the driver, Jaquan Smith at the time of the shooting . He did not take the stand during the original shooting trial.
California's Attorney General's Office refuted the motion. Tory's previous lawyer George Mgdesyan did call Smith as a witness during trial. Smith is now stating he witnessed Kelsey; Megan then best friend and Tory Lanez's fighting over the gun when shots were fired.
