Judge Kathleen Delaney last week granted Blueface probation; suspending the two-to-five year sentence the California rapper was facing.
Blueface was granted up to three years probation, avoiding more jail time, so long as he complies with the terms of his probation. Which the terms to the "Thotiana" rapper's probation is longer than the Nile River.
Blueface was ordered to not use alcohol or drugs including marijuana; and stay off the Vegas Strip and the city’s downtown corridors, unless he was able to prove he was there for work or other legitimate basis.
He was also mandated to undergo impulse control counseling, refrain from contacting the shooting victim, maintain full-time employment, adhere to a curfew, report to parole and probation authorities, and provide access to all his communication devices and social media applications.
"At the original sentencing, Judge Delaney warned, .....'If you are caught violating any probation terms, especially those involving weapons, you will be returned here and I will not hesitate to imprison you for a significant period. You are risking not just your life but also your liberty by possessing firearms or engaging in any unlawful activities.'
The alleged violation pertains to a video that surfaced online following a performance in Salt Lake City last year.
Blueface is back in court on July 29th.
