Miami Beach Cancels Diddy Day

According to The Miami Herald, the Miami Beach Commission voted on Wednesday to rescind the proclamation declaring October 13 as "Diddy Day," without any discussion. Mayor Philip Levine originally bestowed this honor upon the mogul during the third annual REVOLT Music Conference in 2016.

Combs owns a mansion in Miami, which, along with his Los Angeles residence, was raided by federal agents in March amid a federal investigation into alleged connections to sex trafficking. As of now, he has neither been arrested nor charged in connection with these raids.

Diddy has denied all allegations of misconduct but publicly apologized to fans after surveillance footage surfaced showing him physically assaulting Cassie Ventura at an LA hotel in 2016. Due to the statute of limitations, Combs cannot face charges for the incident.
