Dj Khaled born, Khaled Mohammed Khaled on November 26, 1975, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Palestinian immigrant parents. Raised in a home filled with Arabic music, Khaled developed a deep interest in rap and soul music from a young age, with his parents providing strong encouragement. The lessons learned and ambition led Khaled on an amazing career journey leading him to this very week.

Dj Khaled thanked the city of Miami and North Miami Beach for honoring him on Wednesday (May 8).

“May 8th is officially DJ Khaled Day! Thank you 305! I’m inspired and I hope to inspire the next generation! Love! @wethebestfoundation @wethebest. Love is the only way.” - Khaled posted on Instagram.

The recognition commended his contributions to the community: "DJ Khaled's tireless advocacy has encompassed global health and education initiatives. His efforts in the fight against Covid-19 were notable, notably as the inaugural social media ambassador for Project Red and the national spokesperson for Get Schooled."

The proclamation said that: “DJ Khaled, for over two decades, has embodied the pinnacle of musical excellence, entrepreneurial success and profound cultural influence.”
