Raised in a home filled with Arabic music, Khaled developed a deep interest in rap and soul music from a young age, with his parents providing strong encouragement. The lessons learned and ambition led Khaled on an amazing career journey leading him to this very week.

The recognition commended his contributions to the community: "DJ Khaled's tireless advocacy has encompassed global health and education initiatives. His efforts in the fight against Covid-19 were notable, notably as the inaugural social media ambassador for Project Red and the national spokesperson for Get Schooled."
