Cornerback Cameron Sutton has been let go by the Detroit Lions. He has been named in an active investigation by the Florida police. A warrant for his arrest was issued on March 7. He is wanted on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation. Allegedly Sutton fled the scene of the attack at a house in Lutz, Fl.

Lutz is in Hillsborough County and Pasco County up by Tampa, FL. It's a nice densely populated rural area. The local Tampa police had to ask for help locating Cameron on the morning of March 7 (Wednesday) for attacking a women. The charges are a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Sutton may be driving a Jeep Grand Wagoneer with a Florida license plate, the sheriff’s office has said.

Sutton played for the Steelers six years before joining the Detroit Lions in 2023 as a free agent.
