Lawsuits seem to keep including R&B mega star, Chris Brown. Brown has been fighting a $70 million dog attack lawsuit filed by his former housekeepers.
Chris Brown's housekeeper was bitten by his dog and is still being treated for her injuries under her worker’s compensation claims. Brown's Caucasian Ovcharka is documented of growling at the plaintiff (housekeeper) and “ viciously attack” her when she entered the backyard to empty the vacuum. Patricia Avila set down with People to speak on the lawsuit. She is claiming that one of Brown’s two dogs attacked her sister, Maria, while the pair were tending to the his house back in 2020.
Brown's lawyers have asked the presiding judge to push the court date back. In Brown's defense they need more time to prepare for the ase being that it is challenging for them to collect all the evidence being the plaintiff is collecting workers' comp. I can imagine factoring in the new lawsuit Brown has been hit with is needing attention as well.
Recently City National Bank in Georgia is calling out the singer to collect on a bad debt. The lawsuit claims that he has not paid back a loan he and associates took out to cop two Popeyes restaurants. City National also reported they have been trying to reach Brown since 2018 to no unveil. The suit includes The Dream as well.
It appears as if the alleged loan was for a business plan that never came to life. It has been reported that a Los Angeles court has now ordered Chris Breezy to settle his $2 million tab. BNN reported Breezy has 30 days to respond to the judgement, or else he will have to give up his property as an alternative method to not paying.
The filing states...“This court may order that a writ of execution or other enforcement may issue. Your wages, money, and property could be taken without further warning from the court,” .... “If enforcement procedures have already been issued, the property levied on will not be distributed until 30 days after you are served with this notice.”
What are your thoughts on the situation? Do you think Chris Brown will pay debit or courts will have to enforce repoing Breezy's belongings? What would you do?
