21 Savage On SNL

Guess who will be performing after a two-week hiatus on Saturday Night Live? Fans of the show, SNL noticed there wasn't new episodes scheduled last and moved quickly to comparing last season's schedule to this years. It was observed that almost every season SNL takes a break after the third or fourth episode. Does anybody know why? This is the 49 season for SNL.

Comedian Shane Gillis, announced as the host of the upcoming Feb. 24 episode. In the past a recordings surfaced of Shane using racist and homophobic slurs on his podcast; causing him to be let go before his first episode in 2019.

The performance for the welcomed episode will come by Grammy winning artist 21 Savage.

21 has been nominated for a Grammy Award 11 times. He won a Best Rap Song Grammy in 2020 for "A Lot". At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. This year he was nominated for five Grammys, including Best Rap Album for 2022's Her Loss. 

This will be 21 Savage's first time appearing on SNL along with host Shane Gillis.
