Usher Has Big Super Bowl Halftime Plans

Last month, Usher wrapped up his residency in Las Vegas. Dozens of A list celebrities attended the show. Some attendees significant others were not happy with the smooth R&B singer sirinading their girl.

On the biggest night in sports, the Super Bowl game during this year's halftime show Usher will be performing.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Usher spoke on how he's been working on the performance. “It has to be perfect. I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I want people who have been a part of that journey to feel like it’s a celebration for everybody, for all of us, from the beginning up until this point," he said in the interview.

Though the performances are massive with many moving parts they're on the shortest time scale in media. So creating a meaning show and showcasing an artist creativity is very intense while preparing. Which means compacting his entire career of hits into a single performance is tricky.

The new album is Coming Home and long awaited. Usher's last full project dropped in 2016. It is set to be released on February 9, through Mega with distribution by Gamma, two days before his upcoming Super Bowl LVIII halftime show performance.
