Update YSL RICO Case: Young Thug Co-Defendant Stabbed In Jail Attack

Today (Monday December 11) is day ten of Young Thug's trial in Fulton County GA. It's been a little under two weeks since the trial has started. Once court proceedings begin Judge Glanville had to break the news that co-defendant Shannon Stillwell had been stabb.

You may not remember all the details to this case since the arrest were made back in May of 2022...

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, promised to clean the streets of Atlanta of any rappers that think they can reek havoc in her city and then rap about it in there lyrics. Fani is using the same law to prosecute Donald Trump in his Georgia election interference case (voting tampering); Fani accused the 27 remaining defendants as being apart of a criminal street gang. Which is Young Slime Life aka YSL.

Judge Ural Glanville announced, that there had been a “medical issue” with “one of our participants,” and that the trial was done for the day. He ordered everyone back at 9 A.M. Tuesday (December 12). It has only taken ten months for the jury to be seated for trial to move at a snails pace.

Not long afterwards, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to local news stations that Stillwell had been stabbed at some point over the weekend. He has reportedly been hospitalized. The reason behind the stabbing is unknown at this time.

Stillwell’s attorney Max Schardt spoke to WSB-TV reporter Michael Seiden...

“Our first concern is Shannon’s health, and we hope to speak to him shortly. I will provide any more additional details when appropriate. Thank you.”

Since YSL affiliates incarceration in July of 2022 this is the second time he has been attacked while behind bars.

The jail has had a problem with violence and other problems. A lawyer for the sheriff's office last month confirmed to state lawmakers that inmates had made weapons from broken flooring and pipes. The U.S. Department of Justice announced this year that it was investigating the conditions of the Fulton County jail.

Throughout the case from day one Young Thug has maintained his innocence by stating YSL is simply a record label nothing more. The 88-page indictment is nowhere near the truth depending on who you ask.
