Ludacris Teases New Music

Grammy-winning rapper revealed he is planning on putting new music out and reflected on retreating from releasing albums since 2015's Ludaversal to spend time "living some life."

It's been eight years since the rap legend blessed the culture with new music. In a recent BET interview the rapper/actor spoke on it being time to get back in the game.

“Yeah, some music projects will be coming out next year. I don’t wanna fake, I don’t wanna stutter-step,” Ludacris said. “It’s definitely some music coming next year, but I don’t know if it’s like an EP or an LP. We’re going to figure it out.”

Luda's last album Ludaveral hit the charts at No.3 on Billboard 200. He has features from Usher, Monica and Miguel.

Ludacris explained getting deep into his acting career tied him up for a few starring in box office films like; Fast & Furious movies (4), as well as The RideEnd of the Road and the new holiday movie, Dashing Through The Snow.

He also broke down why not putting out albums back to back worked for his work flow....

"So if I had like nine consistent albums, sometimes you gotta take a step back and live some life so that you have a lot more to talk about and that’s what I was doing.”

Many are curios on the sound of Luda's new project. It's too early right now to pen point the artist shared. He's definitely not finished putting out movies. Luda still has boxes to check off. Like playing a role in a Marvel movie or being a villain. He even explained a "Training Day" Denzel Washington type villain he would love to play.
