Tory Lanez's relationship status has advanced with the mother of his six-year old son, Raina Chassagne. In the midst of his appeal and bail process, it is noticed on court documents Tory's family structure has surprising information.
Reported Meghann Cuniff recently shared the full bail motion from Tory Lanez's legal team.Documents state that his fiancee, Raina is now his wife. During the Canadian rappers battle in court this was not the case. At the sentencing Raina was listed as fiance up fast forwarding to the bail documents submitted she is wife. This may be a chess move in Tory's legal team strategy to get him home on bond.
“Mr. Peterson continues to have strong ties to the community, as shown through testimony at his sentencing hearing within this honorable court on August 7th and 8th, 2023,” Tory's bail motion read. “If released, he would live locally in the Los Angeles area, with his wife, Raina Chassagne, and their child, aged 6 years-old. Upon receiving bail, Mr. Peterson’s wife and child will be relocating from Florida to Los Angeles, where the child will be regularly attending school. They will rent a home near Mr. Peterson’s father, step-mother, siblings, and their children.”
Tory Lanez is seeking a motion in the Superior Court of Los Angeles to be released on bail as he appeals his felony conviction and 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Newly weded Raina Chassagne was at the sentencing hearing on Aug 8 when Daystar Peterson was sentenced to 10 years in prion, with credit for 305 days served by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge David V. Herriford. The engagement was announced at this time.
It is unclear when and how the couple got married.
