Cordarius Dorsey is already serving a life sentence for a 2019 murder. He is accused of killing Xavier Turner in January 2020 in his current murder trial; which is taking priority over the YSL RICO trial.
Young Thug's court proceedings are scheduled to resume August 31. On X/Twitter Cathy Russon, L&C detailed the court’s decision to focus on Turner's murder trial.
It has been reported legal documents claim Xavier was also an entertainer apart of YSL. Legal documents also detail co-defendant Dorsey shooting and killing Turner at Old National Village Discount Mall in College Park, Ga.
Young Thug remains behind bars since May of 2022. Over the weekend on Saturday (Aug. 26), Atlanta news portal posted Young Thug's father, Jeffery Williams Sr. holding a sign objecting to Donald Trump being freed on bond with RICO charges and his son still in jail.
