Young Thug Is Optimistic About His Future

Text conversation between Young Thug and his nephew was shared on social media earlier this week. Young Thug is still behind bars fighting for his freedom against Fulton County YSL RICO Trial.

Thug has been locked down since May 2022. There has been a lot of moving pieces with the trial process. Jury selection is still under way.The process months in and no selections have been made. Which has fans wondering about the sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. A defendant in a criminal case has a right to a speedy trial. Though the constitution doesn't outline the time limit of a speedy trial; its regulated on a state level.

Should the trial start anytime soon for Young Thug it is expected to last six to eight months. Meaning the trial will last well into 2024.
