The Renaissance Tour has made its way to North America. Last night one of the biggest performers in the world, Beyonce hit the stage in Massachusetts. During her performance fans noticed some changes to her lyrics. Recently Beyonce was called out by another music icon, Erykah Badu for copying her style.
Erykah Badu posed a comment under Beyonce's post of her wearing a metallic top hat. Badu wrote under the picture in comments; "I'm flattered". Badu also posted to her stories a picture of Beyonce and her side by side in similar fashion with the caption "I guess I'm everybody stylist".
Moreover, the superstar’s associate Lizzo is currently being sued by three dancers. The lawsuit stems from allegations of sexual harassment, weight shaming, and a whole list of other offenses.
Beyonce took the opportunity to respond to both situations during her Massachusetts show.
Beyonce switched up the lyrics to one of her songs where she typically sings, "Badu, Lizzo Kelly Rowl." However last night's performance she sang, "Badu, Badu, Badu, Badu." Paying homage to Erykah by calling her name four times. While on the other hand removing Lizzo's name. Though Beyonce has not commented directly on either situation; her creative platform is screaming where she stands with these sticky situations.
The Renaissance World Tour two and a half hour show will be running until October 1 and will be stopping in Miami, FL August 18th.
