Twitter has A New Name

Elon Musk announced changes will be taking place at Twitter earlier this month. The social media company and platform is no longer, Twitter. X is the new name, CEO Linda Yaccarino believes that will transform the "global town square."

X.com now redirects to Twitter.com. The company's is now represented by a flashing X where there was once was a bird logo, and the app now appears as "X" in the Apple and Google app stores. The rebrand is another step in the ongoing transformation of Twitter.

"Twitter was acquired by X Corp both to ensure freedom of speech and as an accelerant for X, the everything app," the company's owner, billionaire Elon Musk, recently said.

You will be able to do anything you can think of in your day-to-day on the new super app. Supper apps are popular across Asia and India. The goal is to be a one-stop shop. You can play games, book doctors appointments and much more.
