DaBaby has had a come back year like no other. Staying focused on the grind has kept him trending on the internet in a positive light. From selling venues in Japan in spite of in the states "cancel culture" was having a field day trolling DaBaby. It seemed as if the North Carolina rapper fought back and took his talents outside the U.S.
Earlier this month DaBaby credited 50 Cent for helping him ""navigate through the bullsh#t" during one of his lowest points. He posted on IG wishing 50 Cent a happy birthday, DaBaby wrote: "Tell you once a month you the last role model I got left!"
DaBaby has been flexing his get to the bag skills by broadening his nest egg by taking on directorial roles. He recently worked on a project for Moneybagg Yo's "F My BM" video,along with videos for his own music, "Shake Sumn" and "Sellin Crack". Some of his fans are already considering referring to him as the go to for videos.
“We got the godd#mn Spike Lee of this sh#t,” comedian Lil Duval said on camera. “The new Spike Lee of this sh#t.” Lil Duval was answering DaBaby in the ig clip while they were on set of a music video shoot. DaBaby pointed to Lil Duval and he spoke his truth about the 31 year old MC. DaBaby agreed with Lil Duval in the clip.
It's dope to say DaBaby has made a reputation for himself as a music-video director.
