City Girls member JT clears the air over her BET Awards argument with boyfriend Lil Uzi Vert. This past Sunday (June 25) was one of the biggest nights in Hip Hop celebrating the 50 anniversary. With legends like Busta Rhymes being honored with the Life Time Achievement award and artist like Trick Daddy and Uncle Luke hitting the stage representing for the culture. There was a rumble in the audience and it was JT.
JT was recorded yelling at Lil Uzi Vert. She stressed to him not to "ever try her like that." Calling Uzi a "Groupie" JT continue her rant cursing at Uzi while throwing her cell phone at him.
Social media went crazy following the BET Awards commenting on JT and Lil Uzi Vert with many assuming the drama was over Ice Spice. JT responded finally today that her beef Uzi was not over Ice Spice. JT was upset she lost her seat at the ceremony.
A photo of Lil Uzi Vert and Ice Spice together at the BET Awards went viral online. Uzi also mentioned the Bronx rapper during his performance at the show, Uzi rapped, “I got a nice wife… She got a little fro, she looks like Ice Spice.”
Ice Spice commented on her experience at the BET awards on Twitter. She tweeted... "Ghetto but fun".
JT has been busy with her best friend Yung Miami who is the other half of City Girls with new music. "I Need a Thug" just dropped and recently the duo was featured on "Act Bad" with Diddy.
