Caesars Sportsbook on Monday night favored the Denver Nuggets over the Miami Heat. Denver is also listed with an 8-point home favorite in Games 1, with an over/under of 219. This is the first time Denver will be making their first appearance in the NBA Championship Finals in 56 years.
Denver was led on the court by two-time MVP Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, in the 2023 Western Conference Finals champion. Jokic is a -125 favorite to average a triple-double in the Finals.

Miami Heat No.-8 seeded team have been the underdog the entire postseason. Pulling off upsetting Boston with 3 straight wins then having to battle out it out in game 7.
DraftKings sportsbook director Johnny Avello told ESPN,"I am unsure an announcement with Herro will change much,...We have to put up the series price now and just go with the current rosters. We will adjust after each win."
The NBA Finals kick off Thursday night at Ball Arena. Denver Nuggets host Miami Heat then Saturday Game 2 is scheduled to be in Miami.
