Tekashi69 Says Gym Attack Was Not Staged

Takashi69 set down with NBC 6 South Florida to speak on the recent gym attack. The 26-year-old expressed how difficult is was for him to watch the beatdown caught on tape. He's disappointed with people praying on his downfall.

"I don't need to get beat up to sell records." "I can capitalize off anything, I'm just that talented."

“For 2 years I been walking around with no security,” he wrote. “Not saying I promote that BUT now you see I really never hid from anything. If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) ya can tell the world ‘Danny drives his own cars and be solo.’ You know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.”  reported by NBC 6

Tekashi spoke on how he was cornered and attacked. He spent four days in the hospital after the attack and stated he is still recovering. Pieces of the hospital stay have been included in his new video. He explained to show his fans, "better day are coming".

Suspects Rafael Medina Jr., his son 23-year-old Octavious Medina and a third man, Anthony Maldonado were also arrested on assault and robbery charges in connection with the attack.
