Dennis Rodman Says Travis Scott Stole His Shoe Design

At A recent sneaker convention Hall of Fame NBA player Dennis Rodman called out Travis Scott for stealing his shoe designs. In 1994 Rodman's backwards swoosh was used on the Nike Air Darwins. The shoe didn't officially bear his name but Dennis laced up in Darwin's every night and considered them his signature shoe.

Rodman boasted, "Travis Scott has copied my shoe...I was the first guy to do mine backward when I was playing with the Chicago Bulls. Come on, Travis, give me some credit. You copied my sh@t. This ain't new, but either way congratulations."

La Flame and Jordan Brand previewed the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in 2019. In the Travis Scott collection there are 10 designs with the backwards swoosh. Including the Air Jordan 1, the Air Max 1, the Air Max 270 and a few more. Scott put his own twist on the design by adding two colorways.
